Documentary Premiere!
Garland Jeffreys: The King of In Between continues to expand its reach. We will be in theaters this spring followed by streaming by the summer!
We have won 4 festival awards and continue on the festival circuit!
Full of never-before-seen archive, interviews with fellow musicians and friends, honest takes from the director (and Garland's wife Claire) and most of all, Garland's original music spanning fifty years, this film is a warm and personal portrait completely unlike your typical music doc.
Check out our sister site KingOfInBetween.com for information and updates.
The film has fiscal sponsorship which means that ANY contribution you make, of ANY size, will qualify as a tax deductible donation!
Thanks to Denver Film for teaming up with us on this as we finalize all licensing and other pre-release costs. Click here to donate!

High Fidelity
The Circle Jerks version of my “Wild in the Streets” is fittingly running over a heated argument in Episode 7 (“Me Time”) of Zoë Kravitz’s new show, High Fidelity, on Hulu.

Cool Career Overview
Fantastic overview of my career on the coolest site on the planet Please Kill Me. A deep dive and extra fun because it's a joint interview with Claire all about the past and future plans for the documentary. Thanks Robert Gourley! Check it out and let me know if ya learned anything!

Final Performances!
BIG NEWS: After more than fifty years of performing, I’ve decided to hang up my rock and roll shoes. There are a few more shows on the books in the next couple of months but after that it will be only the occasional guest spot or something in that vein. I’m not going to stop writing songs or recording.

New Year's Eve 6th Annual Rock & Roll Extravaganza
Look forward to seeing our nearest and dearest and their nearest and dearest for what The New Yorker called "the best rock and roll show of the year" at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. Savannah Jeffreys will be there, older and wiser and better than ever and there may even be a surprise very special guest! Tickets right here, get them now, they're going fast!

New York Times Op Ed
Loudon Wainwright III included my "Don't Call Me Buckwheat" in this The New York Times Op Ed article "Them’s Fightin’ Words: 10 Great Protest Songs" along with others that are part of our collective American hearts and minds. https://nyti.ms/2QHz0UA

Basketball: A Love Story
In the midst of this political madness it was great to attend the ESPN premiere of Basketball: A Love Story directed by the brilliant Dan Klores, a 20 hour 10-part film airing once a week starting 10/9.
75th Birthday Highlight Reel
Claire and Savannah put together an amazing celebration for me at Cornelia Street Cafe in the Village. All our pals were there and those that couldn’t be sent birthday love in a video and those that could got up and sang. There was a lot of love in the room and I’ll never forget it.
ASCAP Celebrates My 75th!
Thanks @ASCAP for this!
Happy 75th birthday to Garland Jeffreys - a true original, an absolute treasure of a songwriter, and an ASCAP member for 48 years. May you forever stay wild in the streets...
